Jimmy's Stage Rig
Ok Gearheads, Some of the gear i use in my stage rig:
AMP: Tone King Comet 40A amp: Tone King Website It was hand-built by Mark Bartel in Baltimore, MD. Well designed, looks cool, sounds amazing, and is 40 Watts Class A wiring. MAIN GUITARS: a Black 1955 Sears Silvertone (Danelectro U2 Model): History of Danelectro I bought it from a friend for 100 bucks & it's still rocking; 1990s Gibson 135 with Lindy Fralin P-90 style pickups: Lindy Fralin's site The Gibson was given to me by a friend & former band mate; it's been a mainstay for studio recordings & gets really warm tone and snap on the highs; a homemade resonator guitar, Fender LTD Edition Telecaster w/ Bigsby twang bar ( M.I.J.), Early 80s Tokai Love Rock, and an Epiphone SQ 180 acoustic-sounds great in the studio. EFFECTS: Echoplex EP-3 - when i need to travel light i bring a Way Huge Electronics Aqua Puss; Rick Gram Frankentone Fuzz; Analogman CompROSSer; on occassion i add an oddball pedal or two like an MXR Blue Box, Teese RMC3; Digitech Talker, EH Mini Q Tron, STRINGS: Ernie Ball Classic Rock N Roll Slinky.
